Board of Directors- Members of our BOD insure that Culture Shock DC accomplishes its mission of conducting innovative performances, artist development, and community enrichment. They are also responsible for the organization’s financial development and long term strategic planning.
Operations Board- Our Ops Board is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization. They manage our five dance troupes, plan events, fundraise, and seek grants. Most members of the Operations Board are volunteers who dedicate their time to the operational success of Culture Shock DC.
Artistic Staff- The Culture Shock DC staff consist of the organization’s talented and dedicated artistic directors. They are responsible for the choreography and artistic directions of their respective dance troupes. Some members of our staff are also instructors for Culture Shock DC’s weekly hip hop dance classes. They teach at all levels- beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
